This session fuses cleaning strategy and humor in a presentation that kicks off with a nod to the film The Princess Bride and goes on to stress the importance of understanding (and correctly using!) cleaning terms, identifying challenges posed by microbial foes, and unraveling routes of transmission among people as well as insects, birds, and animals. Attendees will learn about the Chain of Infection, the three-legged stool of Process, Product, and People, and understand that cleaning’s most valuable resource in the battle against infection is indeed PEOPLE.
