About this session:
This session addresses key strategies and techniques to maintain clean and attractive hard floors via technical examples of proper procedures, chemicals and equipment. Attendees will learn what is needed to identify, clean, maintain and restore all common types of floor covering materials, including floor coverings used in commercial, health care, food service, industrial and residential properties, as well as specialty applications such as computer rooms, clean rooms and laboratories. Surfaces covered will include wood, laminate, stone, ceramic, terrazzo, marble, concrete, epoxy, VCT & VAT tile and sheet goods.
- Assess proper procedures, chemicals, and equipment essential for maintaining a variety of hard floor types across all facility types.
- Identify common floor covering materials used in commercial, healthcare, food service, industrial, and residential properties, as well as specialty applications like computer rooms and laboratories.
- Learn practical techniques for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring a range of surfaces, including wood, laminate, stone, ceramic, terrazzo, marble, concrete, epoxy, VCT & VAT tile, and sheet goods.
