Scott Hedding

Scott Hedding is the Vice President of Environmental Services for MedStar Health headquartered in Columbia, MD. Scott has worked in the field of environmental services for over 40 years and began his career as a janitor in his hometown hospital in Fort Atkinson, WI. During his career Scott has led other hospitality departments including food and nutrition, patient transport, valet parking and security, however Environmental Services has been his one common thread throughout. Scott has given a number of presentations on topics related to cleaning and disinfection, and Environmental Services leadership throughout the country. Scott holds an MBA, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional by the Association for the Healthcare Environment.
