Bill Fellows

Bill started in the service industry in February of 1966. He and his wife, Regina, owned and operated their own business providing cleaning and light maintenance services for industrial, commercial, retail and healthcare facilities as well as owning a retail janitorial supply company. In 1989 Bill joined GMARA, a joint venture between GM and ARA services (now Aramark). The primary goal of the organization was to establish standard cleaning practices for the entire customer portfolio. The mission grew to include mobile equipment management as well as facility building and grounds services and Bill became part of a team of subject matter experts. Bill was named an internal ISO auditor and International Support Person (ISP) and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, China and the United Kingdom. The assignments ranged from refining existing programs to business development support to setting up green field sites with the entire building and grounds maintenance program as well as technical and safety training programs. Bill was certified as an ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Assessor and Industry Certified Expert (I.C.E.), an assessor for the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard for Green Buildings and Services (CIMS-GB). Bill works as a consultant with companies who want to achieve CIMS Certification, helping identify gaps in their present processes and training employees how to improve the processes to enable them to be ready for the CIMS assessment.
